      Zhpcleaner during the analysis reveals an element marked by a 1 next to the bulb. Around 15% of the analysis.
      Except at the end of the analysis, this 1 disappears and is replaced by 0.

      Bonjour,

       

      Newly registered…. but not a new member, in fact, it is impossible for me to connect with my first nickname: it is a “1” error message that appears…

      It was due to problems installing the ZHPCleaner update that I wanted to connect and it didn't work:

       

      during the update of zhpcleaner downloaded again today I have the message which appears: “line 89263 (file: “c\users\me \desktop\ZHPCleaner(2).exe”     error: the request action with this object has failed”

       

      I tried by deactivating the anyivirus mm thing.

      I still have w7 Ultimate 64-bit sp1

      Is there a solution?

       

      I had used ZHPC many times before without problems.

      1) Right click on the ZHPCleaner Desktop shortcut?
      2) Choose “Properties".
      3) Communicate the name of the corresponding target:

      what do you call “target”, I don’t see in all the “properties” tabs?

       

      I put "C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\ZHP\ZHPCleaner.exe"

       

      but the: \ <> are refused, the exe launches qd mm, but it is still blocked with the message: “line 89263 ….error: the request action with tis object has failed”

       

      No ARDECHOIS? , however this nickname was accepted 22/10/2016 by “n…c.. yayoo.f.” and you really helped me clean this mm pc ;-)) on several occasions, it's strange that it doesn't appear and that I can't connect with it!?

      For Ardechois, ok it was before lol…well before….

      Well, it's still very strange, with a shortcut on the desktop (I had directly put the exe on the desktop) I was able to modify the target as indicated:

      C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\ZHP\ZHPCleaner.exe

      –> gives me the mm message when requesting update ZHPCleaner si run by exe

      –> tells me that the version is greater than 30 days if I launch using the shortcut!?…. I re-rerere-downloaded it today

      C:\Users\\ZHPCleaner.exe

      –>tells me that the target field is invalid...

       

      what is very surprising is that in the meantime (I don't know how I did it) but the exe launched and did a scan of my PC finding junk, and the reports (r) and(s) are on my desk.

       

      I was not able to restart the analysis a second time!!!?!?!

      OK, I understand better!

      In fact, you should not put the ZHPCleaner file on the Desktop.

      What has to be done :

      1) Delete everything related to ZHPCleaner, on the Desktop and in the 2 user folders.

      2) Download the new version of ZHPCleaner (v2020.8.28.226) and leave it in its download folder.

      3) Launch ZHPCleaner, it will create a shortcut for you on the Desktop.

      So to launch it again, you will need to use the shortcut on the Desktop, if there is an update, it will offer it to you and will be done automatically.

      Yesterday Avast detected a virus via a direct scan on ZHPcleaner.

      If it is a false positive there is also another antivirus which detects it, for the moment I have uninstalled it.

      Hello again,

      More clearly Avast has detected this script in your software: Script:SNH-gen [Trj] (after analysis by right click)

      During its analysis, it extracts a text file from ZHP before deleting everything (the script is located on this file)

      As for Virus Total, their updates are generally a few days or even a week late compared to the version installed by individuals on their PC.

      So I prefer to wait before re-downloading ZHP on my PC.

      I usually use your program which works but since the update, it is impossible to make it work after installation by clicking on “update”, a window opens and indicates:

      At first glance this comes from an error linked to the update module, perhaps linked to an inability to create a temporary file or call a Windows API.

      I can't do any tests because I no longer have stations under W7. But I inserted additional detection controls.

      There are also antiviruses.exotic” from VirusTotal whose support cannot even be contacted for an FP submission, for example Bkav

      I find that such antiviruses should be removed from the VirusTotal analysis because they offer a result that cannot be disputed and which necessarily misleads the user about the legitimacy of the product.

      I encounter Autolt Error messages when scanning ZHP Cleaner after 15% progress.

      The current  message  concerns Line  105114  file: \Users\Bastien8Zhpcleaner.exe
      the previous one concerned the Line 105040 File in the following location: C: \users\Bastien\AppDatta\Roaming\ZHP\ZHPCleaner.exe
      I uninstalled Avast as recommended on certain forums which could be in conflict with ZHP but the error persists, and I have to restart the PC after the message appears because it becomes inaccessible. I'm still on Windows 8.1

      Thank you very much for your feedback, follow-up and advice by unchecking chromium in the ZHP options which saved me from having to scan by checking and unchecking each option box to achieve normal operation.

      I have performed approximately more than 5 successive scans and ZHP has detected more than 38 files which have been eliminated.

      I have kept all the successive reports if you are interested in these.

      On the other hand, I tried to perform a new scan by re-checking chromium in the options but unfortunately the Autolt Error message with line 105114 reappeared after 15% of the scan.

      This is for your information. So I will just use ZHP by unchecking chromium in the options

      ah ok so for opera it would also mark the same thing if I understand correctly since they are the same pref/etxt file bases.

      The download appears to be going well.
      starting the scan too, but everything hangs at 28%.

      Hello,

      When I launch ZHPSuite (Diagnostic, therefore ZHPDiag if I understood correctly), I do not have a diagnostic file created (neither on the desktop nor elsewhere).
      In fact, once its analysis is complete, it bugs at the end because it tries to open several Firefox instances (to explain the errors I suppose), and each time it gives me an error because “Firefox always running”. I suppose that therefore prevents it from completing its file writing process.

      Hello Arctus,

      You can close Firefox before running the diagnostic.

      If this still does not work then go to the ZHPSuite options and uncheck “View report"And"Show balance sheet"

      How to make this line disappear permanently:
      FOUND file: C:\Users\nanar\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Preferences =>ChromiumPreference
      I try to repair it but it always comes back if I open Edge.
      I don't remember changing anything in Egge.
      I asked to reset the settings to default and repair but to no avail.

      To remove this detection, uncheck the option “Initialize Chromium preferences“, but it is better to leave this option checked and not make any repairs.

      First of all, thank you very much for all the security work you have been doing for so long.
      I have been using ZHP Cleaner for several years, this little software has often managed to clean malware that neither AdwCleaner / MalwareBytes / Defender has detected.

      I haven't encountered any problems so far, but I have a few requests.

      I have 2 to 3 small constraints with each use:

      With each update, the new version simply goes to the root of my user folder [code]%userprofile%[/code] instead of replacing the initial version of [code]%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\ZHP[ /code] which also contains its own files.
      So I have to reach the locations of the old and new shortcut to do the replacement.
      Would it be possible for Updates to automatically replace the application in this original location?

      I use the iPV4 server [1.1.1.1 – 1.0.0.1] Each analysis and cleaning scan is interrupted by a dialog window asking me if I am indeed the originator. Would it be possible to permanently save my choice so that the scans are no longer interrupted in the future?

      Nothing bad here, just the “Show balance sheet” option always becomes checked again.
