PhonAndroid, By PIERRE LE GOUPIL the 22 October 2020

Windows Defender is one of the best antivirus on the market, according to a study conducted by the German organisation AV-Test.

By collecting the highest score in the tests, the system directly embedded in Windows 10 proves that there is no need for third-party antivirus. (Sources)

Microsoft Defender, officially called Microsoft Defender Antivirus, is an antivirus component of Microsoft Windows. Microsoft first offered the software as a download as a free anti-spy program for Windows XP. Wikipedia

It's still curious that this antivirus becomes by the magic of st mind in a few months the best antivirus on the market. When you know that everything is bought in this world Microsoft is powerful enough to "influence" ;-) the tests that claim to be the most independent and efficient on the market. Again I doubt a lot of these results .

    Hello

what bothers me in this article , is that throughout his speech, it just extols the qualities of WD, But, because there's always a But , in conclusion ( See below ), it's a totally different point of view that she carries with a little publicity on Norton which can't hurt ;-)

But for the vast majority of users, those who use their PC to work, to make online purchases and banking, to communicate with friends and family, etc., Windows Defender is not enough. As my PC contains many personal and sensitive data (banking information, passwords, photos, video/music files, etc.), I don't trust a free antivirus. My number one choice 2020 for Windows users is Norton 360. It's affordable, that is fast, offers many additional features and guaranteed protection against all types of malware .

    Hello,

I take advantage of the opening of this topic to make a remark on the analysis of Microsoft Antivirus Cloud of my software ZHPCleaner.

I did 23 false positives in one year, Microsoft support for only my ZHPCleaner software, with random names like Trojan:Win32/Wacatac, Trojan:Win32/Azden.A!Cl, Trojan:Win32/Fuerboos.D!Cl, Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml.

Obviously it refuses to take into account the permanent certificate of my software.

    Good evening Nicolas,

FYI, I submitted your ZHPSuite software to Comodo for validation because it is not recognized so placed in containment. For my part it's Ok

    Friendly

    Soumission Comodo
