Let us not forget that the term safari has evolved over time, it is obvious that if the Safari (which means “long journey”) designates an expedition of a cultural nature (discovery and tourist stays in the national parks of Africa) or a photo safari, I totally agree. On the other hand, if safari refers to hunting trips for big African game, then I find it quite unhealthy, to say the least.

Hello everybody,
First of all, I wish you and your family a very happy new year.
Obviously, I completely agree with the context that you present and I would add that although hunting has always existed, in particular to survive and feed one's own when no other solution is possible.
But when we see photos of (great lords) with their legs resting on the beast that they have just killed with the help of touts who are just poor people in the pay of unhealthy organizations, it disgusts me.
Alas! There's nothing we can do about it.
Fortunately, we still have the photo safari.
